Referral of Emma

We received a phone call that changed our lives on 4-4-07. During Holy Week when we thought nothing was going to happen and we had been waiting for a referral for just over 6 weeks...we got the call!
Our little girl was born March 31, 2007 in Zacapa Guatemala to a 19 year old El Salvador native and placed up for adoption. Her very brave decision must have been horribly difficult for her but she loves her little girl so much and wants more for her child than she can provide.
We are making travel arrangements to meet Emma and sign papers with our attorney. Our trip will be April 11th to April 16th.
Everyone is very excited. It just happened that Rob was home from work and I had not left yet for work and the boys were home from preschool. We were all together to get the first looks of our newest addition. We are feeling so blessed and so in love with her!
